WHAT WE OFFER

PT
PHYSIOTHERAPY
The Physiotherapy Act, 1991, defines the practice of physiotherapy as: The assessment of neuromuscular, musculoskeletal and cardiorespiratory systems, the diagnosis of diseases or disorders associated with physical dysfunction, injury, or pain, and the treatment, rehabilitation and prevention or relief of physical dysfunction, injury, or pain to develop, maintain, rehabilitate, or augment physical function and promote mobility.
RMT
MASSAGE THERAPY
In Ontario, Massage Therapy is defined as “the assessment of the soft tissue and joints of the body and the treatment and prevention of physical dysfunction and pain of the soft tissues and joints by manipulation to develop, maintain, rehabilitate or augment physical function, or relieve pain”
AT
ATHLETIC THERAPY
In Ontario, Athletic Therapy is a health care profession that specializes in the prevention, assessment, and care of musculoskeletal disorders (muscles, bones, joints) especially as they relate to athletics and the pursuit of physical activity.

Athletic Therapists have a very similar skill set to Physiotherapy. In fact, employee benefits often list Athletic Therapy under Physiotherapy.
LLT
LOW INTENSITY
LASER THERAPY
Low-intensity laser therapy (LILT), also known as low-level laser therapy (LLLT) or cold laser therapy, is a non-invasive treatment that uses low-intensity light to stimulate biochemical changes in cells, helping repair tissue and reduce inflammation. LILT is used to treat a variety of conditions such as musculoskeletal disorders, wound healing, dermatological conditions, and neurological conditions. The technique is called “cold” laser therapy because the low levels of light aren’t enough to heat your body’s tissues, so it produces no sensation or burning
